This hand-blown coupe takes its cue from ancient Roman glass vessels. The frosted version carries a soft sheen and the visible mark of the maker's hand; the clear version, cast in thick, substantial glass, keeps the natural bubbles and slight irregularities of the process, each one a pure and characterful object. The small variations and imperfections in each piece are the very nature of the craft, and its character. Suited to drinks, dessert, or simply as a still-life piece on the table, it carries the quiet warmth of time and touch within its simplicity.
