Paris

St. Leo Original Pigments — 7 city collections · 100 colours · 4 finishes

Colour — its emotional, psychological, cultural, and aesthetic force — sits at the centre of Original Pigments. Developed over two years with the Copenhagen design studio All The Way To Paris, beginning from hand-painted watercolour and gouache colour chips, the 100 shades are mixed from organic liquid pigments and the finest titanium dioxide in a water-based, solvent-free formula that combines superior coverage with low VOC — a healthier choice for the spaces we live in.

PARIS

Tree-lined boulevards, manicured gardens, squares ringed with cafés — in Paris, daily life is itself an aesthetic practice. The limestone façades of Haussmannian apartment blocks, painted wooden doors and ornate shopfronts, the quiet geometry of modernist villas. The city's beauty lies not in any single grand building, but in the colour composition of every side street.

The Paris collection pays tribute to the refined spectrum that forms the city's undertone — from its most unassuming wall greys to its liveliest painted façades, each colour carrying the memory of a particular neighbourhood.

16 Colours

Sacré-Cœur
Sacré-Cœur is a pure white, evoking the natural travertine that forms the main material of the basilica on Montmartre. Pure and intense in character, it's balanced with the faintest trace of yellow pigment — a tone that reads as both clean and warm.

Pont Neuf
Pont Neuf takes its name from the oldest standing bridge across the Seine, its warm grey-white drawn from the natural colour of the bridge's stonework. Pont Neuf carries a fresh, gentle presence, well suited to any interior.

L'Orangerie
L'Orangerie is a soft, soothing purple, evoking the Impressionist movement. Applied to an interior surface, it creates a calm, quiet mood. Its composition — a faintly grey base combined with vivid light-purple pigment — gives it an elegant, refined character.

Carreau-Du-Temple
Carreau-Du-Temple shifts between pale grey and blue, settling easily into any interior. Its core carries a subtle warmth, balanced by cool blue pigment — a colour that is at once modern and timeless, an enduring choice.

Marais
Marais's soft blue takes its cue from the colourful shopfronts of the Paris arrondissement it's named for. A near-perfect balance of blue and grey pigment gives a cool tone that settles easily into any interior — like a soft sky, bringing light and openness into a room.

La Roche
La Roche's bright blue is drawn from the interior walls of Le Corbusier's Villa La Roche. A rich blue tone with a touch of red mixed in carries a faint hint of purple. La Roche brings a cool modernity to a space, while blue's inherent calm lends a reassuring mood.

Bouquinistes
Bouquinistes carries a deep, emerald green, bringing confident colour into an interior. This rich tone takes its name from the iconic booksellers' stalls along the Seine — bright and full of life, and built to last.

Saint-Martin
This deep green reflects the colour of the Canal Saint-Martin. Rich and moody, it shifts between blue and green as the light changes — a bold choice, well suited to retail and hospitality spaces looking to bring confidence and drama into a room.

Dauphine
Dauphine pays tribute to the lemon-yellow paintwork of Hector Guimard's Art Nouveau Paris Métro entrances from the 1900s. Bright, uplifting, and full of playfulness, Dauphine carries a subtle lime undertone — a distinctive choice that brings light and energy into a room.

Petit Palais
Petit Palais's golden tone recalls the gilded gates of the Paris building it's named for. A balance of yellow, brown, and green pigment gives Petit Palais a mustard-gold cast — versatile, and full of character.

Rue Réaumur
Rue Réaumur is a soft, gentle colour, well suited to any interior. Its faint yellow undertone gives a bright, lively surface that warms with the changing light. A neutral beige, it's highly adaptable and versatile — equally at home in retail, hospitality, or office spaces.

Rive Gauche
Rive Gauche is defined by a warm sand tone that shifts with the light — from beige, to smoky grey, to pink. Though essentially neutral, its depth gives a space a lasting character. Rive Gauche suits nearly any interior — home, office, retail, or café.

Rue Loubet – Pale Clay
Rue Loubet takes its name from a street near the centre of Aix-en-Provence in the south of France, and moves between a pale nude and terracotta. Soft and easy-going, it lends any wall a gentle blush. On Rue Loubet itself, similar tones appear across the façades of houses, museums, and theatres, giving them an inviting texture and tonal charm. St. Leo's Rue Loubet brings a friendly, gentle presence to homes, hotels, and retail spaces alike.

Rue Charlot
Rue Charlot, a deep red, draws on the façades and bistros of the Paris street it's named for. Its intense red is balanced by a faintly brown base, giving the colour rich depth and a refined character.

Rue Bottero – Warm Beige
Rue Bottero is a neutral beige with a warm undertone. Simple and versatile, it sits beautifully alongside anything made from natural materials. It takes its name from a small street in Nice, in the south of France, where cultural life and the calm of the sea intertwine. Nice's museums, cathedrals, and residential buildings carry lavish Art Deco façades, bathed in sunlight that gives Provence its particular atmosphere. Rue Bottero pays tribute to the balance of stone and sunlight in Nice's architecture, bringing an uplifting, earthy wall colour suited to any interior.

Rue Alézard – Granite Grey
Rue Alézard sits at the darker end of the St. Leo range. An elegant, versatile tone, it's defined by remarkable depth and richness within a warm grey. Its character recalls granite, and it takes its name from a place in Toulon, France, where the streets are paved in dark grey stone. Applied to an interior surface, St. Leo's Rue Alézard creates a moody, magnetic atmosphere that wraps around whoever's inside it. As the light shifts, the tone moves from dark grey through to black, extending its range.

ST. LEO × ALL THE WAY TO PARIS

To develop the 100 colours of Original Pigments, St. Leo invited the Copenhagen design studio All The Way To Paris to collaborate. Led by Tanja Vibe and Petra Olsson Gendt, the process began with hand-painted watercolour and gouache colour chips — intuitive, organic, and partly left to chance. Over two years, in close dialogue with the St. Leo team, hundreds of hand-painted samples were gradually narrowed and refined into a spectrum of 100 colours spanning seven cities.

All The Way To Paris is a Copenhagen-based design studio founded by Tanja Vibe and Petra Olsson Gendt, working across branding, print, typography, and spatial design — known within Nordic design circles for its depth of understanding of colour.
