Studio Salad Bowl
The Ancher Studio collection brings wheel-thrown ceramics with a fine, balanced layering to the table. The pairing of raw brown clay and matte white glaze gives each piece a rich, textural surface; because of the handmade process and the nature of the material, tone varies slightly from piece to piece — some leaning whiter, others showing deeper clay tones — all part of the natural character. This generously sized salad bowl is well suited to salads, pasta, or shared dishes, adding a natural, unhurried layer to the table.

- Material: high-fired brown stoneware / matte white glaze / food-safe
- Care: dishwasher safe, hand-washing recommended; safe in the microwave, steam oven, and oven (up to 250°C)
- Note: as each piece is hand-thrown, slight variation in size, shape, and glaze between pieces is normal.

Each piece in the Ancher Studio collection is thrown on the wheel by an experienced ceramicist, then trimmed, stamped, and glazed in sequence — every step done entirely by hand, setting the rhythm and pace of our work.
Handmade work takes time, so we produce in limited quantities; the variations that occur naturally between each piece's shape and glaze are exactly what make it one of a kind.
