Ancher Studio — Copenhagen Stoneware Ceramics

Founded in 2023 by Elisabeth Snejbjerg — designer behind Copenhagen's Studio Grey, with over 20 years in product and ceramic design — Ancher makes durable stoneware for daily use. Each piece is thrown collaboratively between a Danish studio with 30+ years of ceramics history and a 35-year family-run Polish workshop, then finished to be dishwasher-, microwave-, and oven-safe (up to 250°C), food-safe certified, and free of heavy metals.

The range runs from small saki bowls to full dinner plates, in speckled, cobalt, cream, mushroom, and brown glazes — Nordic in spirit, built to be used every day rather than displayed.
